Bottom Line:
Every producer needs a good range of quality and characterful effect processors in their collection, particularly with reverbs. It’s one of the most important effects for providing spatial depth and ambience to a mix. This is a neat unit with some tricks and one of the smoothest plate verbs I’ve heard, I highly recommend you try the demo, it will certainly grab your attention.

PSP SpringBox is great buying at $99. In addition to the company’s FETpressor, preQursor2 and Nexcellence effects, this is another fantastic device that should be included in every engineer’s basic toolkit.

As part of a collection with a nice convolution, maybe a decent spring verb like PSP Nexcellence we reviewed last month, ToraVerb 2 will certainly fill the contemporary role nicely. At around $55 USD, this is a total bargain and probably one of the most remarkable reverb plugin I’ve used.

As for a daily go-to reverb plugin, Spaces 2 may only provide a subtle degree of refinement over the competition or even its own predecessor. However, its fine details when you get to the high end of the spectrum will make or break a project.

Bottom Line:
PSP Audioware has an excellent reputation for producing high-quality processors, and though this might be a little more specialised than your standard bread and butter verb effects, its certainly brings mojo and character that is difficult to find elsewhere.
