Gamble, Macdonald and Eccles are no strangers to playing together. As Street Talk in the 70s, they toured extensively and drew critical praise for their albums. They all went on to pursue successful careers in music, with Gamble carving out an illustrious solo career; Macdonald forming the band Blind Date with Street Talk guitarist Mike Caen, and Ecclesgaining international acclaim as the drummer in The Angels.
Fast forward several decades, and the trio are back together as The Disappointments with a cracking album steeped in old school rock ‘n’ blues.
